Jewellery Using Textiles Techniques: Methods and Techniques (Design and Make)
This book has inspired me a lot in exploring how to combine metal weaving and tea paste. The book contains many examples of jewellery designs that combine metal weaving with other materials. Also, many of the concepts that the pieces are meant to convey, such as the relationship between dreams and reality, etc., are similar to my intentions. The book is a great reference for me in terms of materials, techniques and inspiration.
The combination of solids and mesh textures creates a contrast between reality and illusion, I can practice this form in a combination of tea paste and metal weaving.
