Observation of leaves falling

ysong0420192

Back to the fallen leaves that inspired me about emptiness and impermanence. So I went to Locus garden to observe the falling leaves.

Falling leaves are very impermanent and you never know where the next one will fall from. So it takes some luck and coincidence.

And these large leaves are heavier, so they don't get affected too much by the wind when they fall, and the wind is a significant factor in making fallen leaves impermanent. So I tried to replace the leaves with paper made from plants of the same size to better capture the feeling of falling leaves.

As I was doing this experiment with falling leaves, I noticed that the fleeting, changing trajectory of falling leaves and the nothingness might evoke thoughts of emptiness and impermanence.

So I sketched the track of the falling leaves, and I want to express my empties attitude with the technical metal wire knitting that I have explored in unit2.
