Talk with a friend

To reflect on the unit 2 works I realize that I dug a lot of shallow holes to expand the different ways to represent the "Emptiness and Impermanence" hole but there is no one deep. I know that is a process of discovering, and I feel happy that I have that creativity. So in unit 3, I would like to go deeper into one of these 3 processes. And I didn't connect these technologies with my inspiration, the feeling of leaves falling. It could inspire me to think about the life cycle it could also impress the audience. So I will go back to focus on my inspiration in unit 3.

At the beginning of unit 3, I struggled to find a way to take on this technique. And I made an appointment with an old friend of RCA's for an exhibition. Their graduate show inspired me, One of the reasons a work could impress the viewer is cause they could connect with them emotionally. And I told about my work and the dilemma I was facing currently. She asked, "Why did you want to visualise emptiness and impermanence?" I answered: “ Once when I was observing falling leaves and I sensed that everything was changing and in the end, everything return to the beginning. She encouraged me to replay the memory of my inspiration, and catch the feeling which provoked me to create.“The feeling could move you also could impress your audience,” she said.

In addition, Simon inspired me to describe what kind of physical thing would make me feel empty and impermanent. And Oscar suggested me simulate the feeling of leaves falling down, and use the ink I made with leaves to draw the sketch.

I really appreciate that they gave me this good thinking.
