Last week I went to the future shock exhibition, it was visual powerful and insprid me a lot.

UVA's Vanishing Point 3:1 explores the relationship between geometry, sound, light, and space. The installation creates the illusion of light as a physical material- a laser carves through space, transforming our sense of perspective: unpredictable and without repetition, fluctuating from calm to pulsing, energetic movements.

This piece reminds me of the movement of falling leaves. The falling leaves are dynamic and unpredictable at each moment in their descent, and the pattern of different changes of light in successive positions is a way of showing the descent.

By casting motifs of confessional spaces alongside one another, Gaika's Convo 2.2 Complex draws our attention to the parallels between therapy, sex work and religious ritual, asking us to consider the power dynamics held within each interaction.

This work inspired me that the projection of light can create a vision that is far more massive and intense than the physical. And the changing position of the light can bring about a richer view, showing different perspectives and projections of the object, creating a more tense and dramatic vision.
